The English Bevel technique also called 45° bevel allows to add depth to the frame by using a deep bevel in your frame. With this technique, you basically cut a board with a 45° angle, wrap it with paper, and add a passe-partout (mat) on the top.
The French Bevel technique allows to add depth to the frame by using a very deep bevel in your frame. With this technique, you basically cut a foam board and a board, cover it with paper, and add a “passe-partout” (mat).
The Infinite French Bevel technique allows to add depth to the frame by using a very large, deep, and round bevel in your frame. With this technique, you basically cut a foam board and a board, and cover it with paper up to the molding.
The Romantic Bevel technique allows to add depth to the frame by using a very deep and round bevel in your frame. With this technique, you basically cut a foam board and two boards, put the foam board in the middle of the two boards, cover it with paper, and add a passe-partout (mat) on the top.
The “Filet” Paper technique allows to add beautiful color and texture to the frame by using a “filet” paper (papers from all over the world) in your frame. With this technique, you basically fold the “filet” paper and put it in the middle of the two “passe-partout” (mat).
The “Lavis” technique also called French line allows to decorate "passe-partout” (mat) of the frame by drawing line(s) and using watercolor.
French Art Framing allows to combine techniques. In this case, you combine “Filet” Paper technique with French Bevel technique.
