Biography

I was born in France and I grew up there. I learnt French framing, decorative painting, Golding molding, "Cartonnage", Sculptfurniture and more!

After ten years working in entertainment and happening, it was obvious for me to be creative and use my artistic skills.

My father taught me: Never stop learning, Never stop to be curious! He was a handyman with a great practical sense but he was not artistic.

Life is creativity, adaptability and color.

I love colors, it's part of nature, and part of me. So I try to combine artistic and useful.

My terrific motto (for my family) is: I have an idea!

I always want to "twist" the object and change the establishment. I like to go beyond the average outline. I wish I could live 200 years so I could learn all ways of art.

Besides, my core values are respecting life, environment and nature. I try to use genuine techniques and old recipes with natural ingredients.

Philosophy

How can you make life more beautiful, more enjoyable, and more fun?

How can you make daily life a celebration? A blast of fanciful shapes and colors… without forgetting the useful? How can you combine the useful with the beautiful?

I have always dreamt of art incorporated within daily life; sophisticated street lamps, colored streets and objects, for example, which communicate joy and cheer just by looking at them.

Training

I started my training with European-framing, learning how to make art out of a mere postcard. Then I started learning a new technique based on reshaping cardboard, called "cardboard-art": fabricating and framing objects and boxes with cardboard material, dressing them in textiles and papers. This art camouflages our everyday messes, such as papers, paperclips, cards and pictures.

Soon, I felt a need to create bigger objects: furniture. Yet I wanted them to be ever-moving, transforming and impermanent, like life.
